Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using C4InterFlow (“the Service”), operated by Slava Vedernikov — Creator of C4InterFlow — Open-source Architecture as Code Framework, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

C4InterFlow is a cloud-based software architecture modelling platform. It allows users to create, manage, and collaborate on architecture models using C4 Model notation. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier and paid plans.

3. Accounts

You must register for an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed by Paddle Payments Ltd (“Paddle”), who acts as the Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Prices are shown in your selected currency and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Subscription rates may change; we will provide reasonable notice before any price increase takes effect.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your workspace settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our express written consent
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its availability

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content submitted by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of Slava Vedernikov — Creator of C4InterFlow — Open-source Architecture as Code Framework. You retain ownership of all architecture data you create using the Service.

You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. Data Export

You may export your architecture data as YAML at any time from within the Service. We are committed to ensuring you can always access and export your own data, regardless of subscription status.

9. Data Retention After Cancellation

Upon cancellation or expiry of your subscription, your workspace data is retained for 30 days. After this period, data may be permanently deleted. Please ensure you export any data you wish to keep before this window closes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slava Vedernikov — Creator of C4InterFlow — Open-source Architecture as Code Framework — shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
